telephone/power pole: Was caught out by this when I first came to Queensland from Victoria in 1974, and took part in a car rally. At a particular point, to verify that we had been there, we were asked to record the number of the "SECOND UP" in the street - it was capitalised like that. Not being familiar with "Utility pole", I took it to be the number of the second house up the hill in the street. Needless to say, this answer was not accepted!
