Contributor's comments: Firstly North Coast Qld. refers to the Sunshine Coast between Caloundra and Noosa Heads. We ate mashed potatoes and pumpkin as children but it was called "Bubble and Squeak".
Contributor's comments: I have often eaten potato and pumkin mashed together, but we have always called it Pumtato. I think my grandfather in the Monaro called it that too.
