Mindless retort in response to a comment or insult, irrelevent to the subject of conversation: "You run like a girl!" "Yeah, and so's your mum!"
Contributor's comments: I've also heard, in Brisbane, just "your mum". For example, if someone says, "You look like an idiot." they'd retort with "Your mum looks like an idiot!" (although it gets applied in nonsensical ways also.)
Contributor's comments: It's true... seems to be restricted to a younger generation, but YA MUM jokes will be here for a while I think!
