Contributor's comments: Would always get this in answer to "What's for tea, Mum?" in Perth 1960's.

Contributor's comments: My mother was born in St George in Western Qld and had me puzzled for years when she would reply to my 'What's for dinner?' with 'Bread and duck under the table'. It took me years to figure it out. I grew up in Warwick.
