crease leave

Lets the sayer leave the cricket crease in order to argue with the umpire or go in and get a drink from Mum: I'm thirsty, I want a drink. Nah crease leave!

Contributor's comments: We only ever used the single word "crease!" (said loudly) in Perth, 50s and 60s.

Contributor's comments: [Perth informant] As a kid we also used "Crease, not out" for the same purpose. We called out "Crease" to indicate we weren't going to run any more, so that ball is then complete. My son and his friends use crease in this way.
