Contributor's comments: In NW Tasmania we said "whoopee doo", alternatively mime a trombone playing derisively (eg "that's so exciting lets throw a parade").
Contributor's comments: I have only heard this as "Whoopy do" - I have come across it in Melbourne as well as WA.
