(probably from Sth Aus.) It is really good: That new car is the bee's knees.
Editor's comments: This term is present in both British and US English, but seems to have been recorded earliest in Australia - our records can date it to 1905. Can't see why it would probably be South Australian - can anyone explain?
Contributor's comments: A mate of mine who originally hails from Tassie (Burnie) uses "Duck's Guts" instead of this.
Contributor's comments: We also use the term "duck's nuts".
